Archizen Architects FREE Design Consultation

1. FREE Design Consultation

Do you currently own a property and are about to begin a renovation, new home or development project and need professional verbal design advice from a fully qualified architect?

We offer an initial no obligation FREE design consultation with a fully qualified architect in our South Hurstville architectural studios.   This will give you the opportunity to discuss your proposed project in more detail and for us to offer suggestions so you get a real sense of direction.  We'll explain our complete and comprehensive architectural design services including the development approval process.  As well as Archizen learning about you and your project, this consultation will give you the opportunity to learn a little more about us.
  
Initial FREE design consultations are held in our architectural studios located at 848 King Georges Rd South Hurstville during normal business hours.  These consultations are free of charge and generally take about 30 minutes.  If you're unsure of where to begin, this verbal advice consultation is the gateway for you to leverage off our 30 years of knowledge and professional expertise.  It will also help you to understand and explore both the challenges and opportunities of your proposed project.

So you can get the best out of your free design consultation, we suggest that you bring along a copy of the 'certificate of title' which includes the site survey with the site dimensons, the 'sewer diagram' and the '149 certificate'.  These can usually be found in your 'contract of sale' when you purchased the property.   

We suggest that you also bring with you any other relevant information such as any existing site and/or floorplans, photos of the existing property and any images or ideas that you may have in mind for your proposed project, to give us a greater view of your expectations and desired results.  With these we can discuss your project in relation to design possibilities, any site limitations and council regulations.

2. Initial Site Consultation

We visit and assess your site plus offer cost effective design solutions and strategies for obtaining approval. (-includes a written summary)

Whether you are thinking of renovating or building a new home you want to ensure that you develop your property to its full potential, and so you can get the best out of your project, you may like to consider a Site Consultation.  These consultations are popular with busy parents who are unable to visit our architectural studios and who prefer a personalised home visit.

This is where a fully qualified architect will personally visit and assess your site as well as the setbacks and design constraints.  They will brainstorm options with you and fully explore your property's full potential by completing a site analysis.  They will establish the positioning of your new or existing home and make suggestions on the most cost effective way of achieving your desired results as well as discuss council regulations and strategies for obtaining approval.

This is a valuable consultation as it includes professional recommendations on the best way for you to proceed with your project.  We’ll also explain our holistic design philosophy in more detail and how you can benefit from its principles to add value to your project.  This consultation can help you from making financially unsound decisions while maximising your property's potential.

After considering your overall design requirements Archizen Architects will provide you with a 1-2 page written summary of the site consultation discussions, a site analysis summary and a fee proposal for our architectural services.  Archizen charges a nominal fee for all site consultations.

Archizen Architects Pre-Purchase Design Consultation
3. Pre-purchase Design Consultation

 

Prior to purchasing a property we assess your site and offer professional design solutions and development advice.  (-includes a written summary)

A Pre-purchase Design Consultation is a must if you want peace of mind knowing that you're on the right track or you simply want to reduce your risk of taking on a project that may not be financially viable.  It is ideal if you want an unbiased appraisal on whether, what you're proposing is realistic, economically feasible and complies with local authority planning guidelines.

As registered architects and licensed builders we have nearly 3 decades of valuable experience in design and construction and provide you with an holistic appraisal plus professional recommendations on the best way for you to proceed BEFORE you go to the expense of purchasing a property.

Archizen Architects will visit your site, make preliminary calls to Council and review the relevant planning codes where necessary so you can get the best overall advice before you make the decision to invest in a property.  We will also provide you with a written 1-2 page summary of the pre-purchase consultation discussions and a site analysis summary to give you a clearer picture of whether you could be about to purchase a potential 'lemon' or 'goldmine'.  If you are successful at purchasing the property we can also prepare a written fee proposal for our architectural services.

If you're about to purchase a property then we strongly recommend that you take advantage of our Pre-purchase Design Consultation to ensure that you are buying a property that will meet your long term goals.  This service is one that you just can't afford to do without.

Archizen charges a nominal fee for all pre-purchase consultations.  For an additional fee Archizen can also provide you with preliminary freehand concept sketches and attend a preliminary meeting with your Local Council to discuss the viability of your proposed project.
